Busway closed due to bus breakdown

One of my neighbours has just told me that the bus he was returning from Cambridge to St Ives today broke down near Longstanton due to an engine fault. He said smoke was billowing out of the bus's engine, and passengers had to walk to Longstanton where they were picked up by another bus that had reached there by ordinary roads.

The affected section of the  busway was closed for a while and buses had to be diverted.
